How should HRM councillors deal with its projected $30 million budget shortfall?

  • Cut back on transit expansion, which accounts for about half the shortfall.
  • Leave the transit expansion plans in place, cut back everywhere else.
  • Implement staff’s suggestion and make lots of small cuts and small tax increases.
  • Make no cuts and increase taxes instead.
  • That’s why I’m not a councillor.
